We undertake innovative, inter-disciplinary research on a range of issues relating to children’s policy

We communicate research findings to contribute to better outcomes for children and young people.

We seek to connect researchers, policy makers and practitioners working on a range of issues to promote the human rights, wellbeing and best interests of children.

The Children’s Policy Centre is based at the Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University. 

In defining children, we draw on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and focus on people aged under 18 years.
